Each year, Nine X release an average of two new collections, ranging from 10 to 14 pieces per set. All designed and produced exclusively for the Nine X brand by our team of designers.

Every new

collection begins with ideas from the design team, sketching and researching the current lingerie trends and what we feel is lacking in the plus size lingerie industry. Along with the sketches, we also consider the colours and patterns we'd like to use. With fabrics, stretch plays a big role in deciding what we choose. Recently we started working with venecia, a relatively new fabric, made from a blend of 92% nylon, 8% spandex. This fabric provides lots of stretch, while creating a smooth and flattering fit to the body.

Once the basic ideas are drawn up, our design team work on creating proto samples of e

ach item. This is where we take a closer look at the fit of the garment, make adjustments where required. With our collections ranging from size 8 to 28 we make sure every item fits all size ranges, and includes features such as; stretch straps, halternecks, and lace inserts. This is something that's very important to us, and is tested on both regular, and plus size models. After the samples have been made at the factory and any adjustments have been completed, we search for the right fabrics, lace, trims, and elastic.

The key features we look for are quality, texture, and stretch, as previously mentioned. With the fabric and accessories selected, pre production can begin, with our tailor. If all looks well, we continue to the final production, completing the garment.
